What is the BOOT Model?
Under BOOT, Navbharat Water builds the treatment plant at the client's site using our capital. The client pays a monthly O&M fee based on volume treated. At the end of the contract term (typically 10–15 years), ownership transfers to the client.
When Does BOOT Make Financial Sense?
- When CAPEX budget is constrained or allocated to core business
- When compliance deadline is too tight for procurement cycle
- When in-house O&M capability is limited
- For projects where treatment cost savings justify the per-KL fee
