Smart Water Management
Every plant monitored. Every parameter tracked. In real time.
The Challenge
You can't manage what you can't measure. Most plants can't measure.
The majority of industrial water treatment plants in India operate on manual sampling and daily log books — a system designed for 1990s compliance, not 2026 operations. Equipment failures go undetected for hours. Regulatory exceedances are discovered at the monthly lab report, not in real time. NWPL's Smart Water platform connects your plant to a live dashboard, replacing guesswork with data.

How It Works
Sensors. Edge compute. Cloud dashboard. Automated alerts.
NWPL's Smart Water platform is a three-layer architecture: OCEMS sensors at the plant, an edge gateway that processes data locally, and a cloud dashboard accessible on any device.
OCEMS Sensor Network
Online Continuous Effluent Monitoring Systems (OCEMS) measure pH, BOD, COD, TSS, flow rate, and temperature at inlet and outlet in real time. Sensors are CPCB-approved and calibrated monthly. Data is transmitted to both the CPCB CEMS server and your private dashboard simultaneously.
Digital Twin Simulation
A digital twin of your plant runs continuously alongside the physical system. It predicts membrane fouling 72 hours in advance, calculates optimal chemical doses in real time, and simulates the impact of a process upset before it occurs — giving your operators time to intervene.
Automated Alerts & Response
WhatsApp and SMS alerts notify your EHS manager and NWPL's remote support team simultaneously when any parameter approaches a limit. For BOOT clients, NWPL operators initiate corrective action automatically without waiting for a client call.

Multi-Site IoT Rollout — 12 Plants, Gujarat Industrial Cluster
12 textile ETP/ZLD plants connected to a single NWPL dashboard for a Surat-based group. Compliance exceedances reduced by 94% in the first year. Predictive maintenance flagged 3 pump failures before they occurred, saving ₹15 lakh in unplanned downtime. Group EHS head now reviews all sites from a single mobile screen.

CPCB OCEMS mandates are here. Manual log books are not enough.
The Central Pollution Control Board's OCEMS guidelines require online continuous monitoring for all Grossly Polluting Industries (GPIs). NWPL's OCEMS installations are registered with the CPCB CEMS server and provide the tamper-proof data logs required for regulatory compliance. Our cybersecurity protocol — including network segmentation and SCADA isolation — meets the National Cyber Security Policy 2013 requirements for critical infrastructure.
