Every industry has unique water treatment requirements. Understanding these sector-specific challenges is the starting point for every NWPL project.
Hotel STPs installed in basements must be completely odour-free — enclosed MBR systems with negative pressure ventilation are required, not optional.
Space is at a premium in urban hotels: a 500-room property in Mumbai cannot spare 300 m² for a conventional STP. MBR technology must compress this to 80–100 m².
RERA and BMC Occupancy Certificate requirements mandate commissioned and tested STPs before occupation — delayed STP commissioning directly delays hotel opening.
Treated STP water for toilet flushing and cooling tower makeup reduces municipal water bills significantly — but only if treated to the required quality standard.
Hotel laundry and kitchen generate high-strength effluent (grease, detergents, food waste) that must be pre-treated before entering the STP — a design requirement often missed.
